Mollie Makes

Yesterday brought me a little packet of joy; the third issue of Mollie Makes!  So I spent last night with a  cup of rose garden tea and buttery crumpets to hand soaking up every last page.

Lots of summery ideas to ponder and if you haven't already seen the Mollie Makes YouTube video take a peek:

I can't be the only one who wishes there was a place near me to get making while having a natter and a cuppa with other crafty gals?!  Living the dream!

  11. love that video!! And yes, I agree more places that are like that....places where you can go and do all sorts of creative or girly things whilst eating cakes off cake stands and drinking tea out of bone china should be a national requirement for every town, city and province.

It makes even me, the most uncrafty-fied person ever due to general lack of co-ordination want to be crafty....I agree, you should get your own small business loan and set up your own place like that! I'd totally join in for a stitch and bitch even though I've not stitched for a very long time!!

  14. I've seen this magazine and it does look good, one of my work collegues was a bit disappointed with how the patterns are set out though.

  15. I really really miss my craft group :-(

I was so happy to have found one and was there from the start, but the lady who set it up is now busy starting up her teashop and cupcakery, with gift shop attached, so it's not been running for ages. I suppose at least there'll soon be a nice new place to hang out, her cakes are amazing.

I'd stitch (and mainly bitch, I get chatty and only sew a bit) with you, if I were only nearer...x

  17. Oh I also wish we could have local stitch 'n bitch groups! I wonder how much real support there'd be for something like that.

My mag arrived today and I am reading it little by little - drawing it out. Looks like another good issue.
