Because I'm a crockery fiend and a complete teacup glutton I've decided to join in this week not only with Teacup Thursday on Miss Spenser's Blog but also Teacup Tuesday with Artful Affirmations. If you're groaning internally look away now my lovelies!
I've long loved Alice in Wonderland and my copy from childhood is so dogeared I bought myself a new one for reading a couple of years ago lest the pages fall out of my original with any more use. So with this teacup I went for a slightly Wonderland themed setup; a gorgeous Alice postcard I received with an Etsy order, an ornate mirror and a beautiful Wonderland themed bracelet I received as a birthday gift.
To end with a suitably tea related extract from Alice in Wonderland;
'Twinkle, twinkle little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea tray in the sky'
Take care,
Jem xXx
Love the colour of your teacup - very rich and deep.

Wonderful pictures as always - I'm a huge Alice fan and I bought a load of alice charms agaes ago with the intention of making a bracelet like yours - should dig them out really and have a go. The tea cup is an amazing colour too :o) Scarlett x
ReplyDeleteAlice in Wonderland has to be one of the greatest books of all time! Love the way you've set up the teacup, bracelet and postcard on a mirror and your words/pictures are always so pretty that I'm envious!!!
